Who We Are
Within the TVCC Cardette program exists an elite competition team: The Cardette Showgirls. Established in 1985, these members are selected at the conclusion of the fall semester through a rigorous tryout process and return for the spring semester early to begin training and learning choreography. Each year, the Cardette Showgirls compete in three competitions- The American Dance/Drill Team Collegiate Championship in Denton, Texas, the Dance Team Union Virtual Championship, and the Dance Team Union College Classic in Orlando, Florida. To date, the TVCC Cardette Showgirls have earned 10 DTU national titles- 2017, 2019, two in 2021, 2022, 2024, two in 2025, and two in 2026.
